What I mean by the title is that, young or old, if you find yourself in a position where there are seemingly no other options available to you to make more income than you are currently receiving, then something is actually broken! Not broken in the sense that a fixed income, in and of itself is broken, but broken within the mind set that living on a fixed income is acceptable for a functional person, even if at minimal capacity! This is not to be confused with the very elderly or someone that is incapacitated to the point of being unable to work at all! This article is for the person that finds themselves in a rut of making only enough, or in many cases during this time of economic concerns, not enough to cover the basics! This is also for retired people that are not remaining active and are just squeaking by!
The fact of the matter is that an income that is not gaining some momentum in moving you towards the goal of being Debt Free, is an income that needs fixing! This doesn't mean that it can be fixed overnight or that you should change everything that you are currently doing right now, it just means that it's time to begin exploring alternate streams of revenue that can help feed your income! It simple really....in this day and age, if you have a computer or access to one, and a desire to improve your current financial circumstances, then you have access to more information than you can use in helping to educate yourself in improving your finances!
It's important to focus on something that you like and that is not going to interfere with your responsibilities to God, your family, or current work related commitments. Make sure that the information is reliable and cross reference it with multiple locations on-line, since not everything on the "world wide web" is accurate or in your best interest! I recommend Christian companies that you can trust, such as
www.ChristianMoney.com with my friend, James L. Paris, that I have found is a great way to get started in a safe and easy to learn environment!
Although I will cover more in upcoming articles on this subject, this one is meant to get you thinking and excited about the
potential in changing your current circumstances, by investing a little time and energy in your financial future as we move together into a Debt Free Lifestyle!
One last remark, that I purposed to save for last, because it is the most important thing to do before you make a move in any direction, is to go to the Lord in prayer and ask Him for His guidance in how He would like you to manage His Money that is on loan for your benefit!
I will also pray for financial freedom for each person that has read this article!
